Superstition has it that 13 is an unlucky number – but there is a little known twist to this. For those born on the 13th day of the month, 13 is actually a very lucky number. It certainly seems to have been that way for Kitewheel in 2013. 2013 was busy, fun and successful for all at Provenir’s (Kitewheel) customer listening division.
A New Real-Time Solution For Marketers
Almost a year ago, we saw a market opportunity to use the existing Provenir (Kitewheel) real-time platform to leap-frog the current solutions in the customer engagement market. We wanted to provide solutions that truly addressed marketers’ needs for new ways to listen to customers and respond intelligently and immediately. With many years of marketing technology experience in our team, we set out to deliver real-time marketing solutions designed around consumer-centric interactions and NOT campaigns. Our early market investigations were a huge success. On June 12, we officially launched Provenir’s (Kitewheel) new customer listening division.
2013: A Fantastic Beginning
What a ride it’s been! First, we celebrated the launch of our division and opening of our headquarters in Boston’s Innovation District this summer with a fantastic party. This event hosted marketing and technology media and local media and analysts to learn about our platform.
We have also achieved many milestones in this first year, including building a strong team of talented, intelligent employees who share the excitement about fixing the current state of the customer engagement solutions. However, it is our existing platform technology that enables our team’s success. Of course, our employees are pretty smart themselves, but they credit Provenir’s (Kitewheel) out-of-the-box capabilities to enable them to quickly configure a real-time solution, linked directly to other existing systems, for clients. From there, users can simply point and click to create real-time customer journeys. It’s this ability to quickly show customers how simple, yet truly effective, our solution is. This led to some really great customer and partnership wins in our first year.
ROI for Early Agency Partners
On that note, we’ve also seen stellar traction this year. Kitewheel already has six active marketing agency partners, through whom we have worked on almost 20 end-client solutions, delivering remarkable revenue and ROI results in a short period of time. We also launched ourselves into the marketing conference scene, attending several events on both sides of the Atlantic. We were especially excited with how Provenir (Kitewheel) was received at DMA13. Attendees crowded around our booth to experience real-time engagement with our very own (unfortunately fictitious) airline, “ProvenAir”. It was gratifying for us to show the attendees that real-time, cross-channel, individual engagement is possible!
While we’ve been hard at work all year, we also make sure to have fun doing so. One example of this is that we recently enjoyed a celebratory holiday dinner at the Franklin in Southie. I can’t wait to kick off 2014! So, Happy New Year from the entire Provenir (Kitewheel) team!
