Boston – October 3, 2017 – Kitewheel, provider of the leading Customer Journey Hub, today announced that industry veteran Rick Fuller has joined the company as VP of Direct Sales, where he’ll lead the expansion of Kitewheel’s direct-to-brand business. The move is driven by increasing brand interest in deploying customer journeys as a way to improve omni-channel consumer experience.
“While customer journey orchestration was traditionally offered by agencies as an add-on to marketing programs, we’re encountering more brands that want to run journey management in-house to cover customer service, support and marketing,” said Mark Smith, President of Kitewheel. “Rick brings tremendous sales experience to Kitewheel, and this will help us reach the ever-growing number of brands that want to manage the customer journey more effectively.”
Rick Fuller is a 21 year veteran of the software industry, and an expert in marketing technology and analytics. After serving in roles at Applix and Unica, both of which were acquired by IBM, he most recently helped build Tableau’s strategic account program.
“Over the course of my career, I’ve had the opportunity to see how marketing technology and analytics have become an integral part of how brands compete for customers,” said Fuller. “Kitewheel is an incredibly powerful and unique approach to the next generation of marketing, and I’m excited to join such a dynamic team that is already revolutionizing the customer journey market.”
